SABRINA SEELIG,  1984 -2007

It has been 11 years since we have lost her. On June 5, 2007, ten days before her 23rd birthday Sabrina was pronounced dead. Today, she would have been nearly 34 years old. Today again, we are at loss trying to make sense of what happened and remember her in a way that she would find meaningful. During her short life Sabrina spent an ample time questioning that final unknown:

“Breath comes in and retreats from the body, approaches, invades lungs and abandons the flowering tendrils of interior. Are we supposed to have a bit of shattering in us for what we don’t know? Cry, then, but don’t do it because you think you know how large or small it is, or how ugly or how benign. The world is one less – or more – lonely.” – from THE ROMANS by Sabrina Seelig
